About

I’m a 3rd-year medical student taking a year off to do research in Peru. I’m currently living in Lima and it’s amazing. I’ve previously lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand for study-abroad and in Gibeon/Mariental, Namibia for the Peace Corps, but my heart still lives in Ann Arbor, MI.

This blog is mostly for my own purposes, to retain as much history of this adventure as I can. And also so I don’t have to email spam everyone with my ramblings.

My husband, Dylan, is not here with me because he’s a butt, and also because someone had to take care of our cat babies (two were brought back from Namibia, one adopted from the Huron Valley Humane Society). He’s kind of into computery stuff so he’s actually in charge of maintaining this blog, so if you’ve got a problem with it you can take it up with him.

Speaking of which, if you’d like to get in touch with me (or Dylan), please check out the Contact page. Do not hesitate to send care packages.

And no, the picture at the top of this website is not of Peru. It was just the default that came with this WordPress theme. I’ll try to get something more Peruvian there soon.
